Miroslav Košuta

3/11/1936

Miroslav Košuta’s poetry collections evoke various scenes and events from the world of children and animals. His poems are playful and boisterous, humorous, melodic, and full of sound- and wordplay. Some are even considered as folk literature, but all of them greatly contributed to the preservation of Slovene among the Slovenian national minority in the Italian Littoral.

Somewhere, but Where?
Somewhere, but where? I, too, have a home. My home is brief, as short as a heartbeat. It might be right here, under my feet, Or maybe neither here, nor there, nor anywhere.
